My technical foundation is electrical engineering. My strongest work begins when the system boundary is still unclear and the answer has to account for people, hardware, operations, and adoption together.

An expensive, manual, fragmented, or normalized barrier
Expand the problem enough to identify the leverage point
A physical prototype, working system, measured change, or honest boundary
The smallest test that advances the work without overclaiming it
Retrofit, do not replace.

My design instinct is to find the highest-leverage intervention in a system a person already inhabits. That means working with existing equipment and habits rather than demanding wholesale replacement.
In assistive products, cost, force, dexterity, setup time, failure behavior, maintenance, and dignity are not marketing concerns. They are engineering variables.
Engineering and business are one path, not an escape from either.
